I am regreting more and more our choice to go to " our" school for our location....
I am still doing battle with the school bus people about the fact that the bus drives by right in front of my house yet Aaron can't ride the bus. They think it is ok for a kindergardnener to walk 1.1 miles to school.
Second is the very colorful white trash that I see every morning when I drive him to school.
Today I picked up Aaron and His teacher Ms. Powell asked to talk to the parents that were there... She informed us that as of Monday she will not be teaching anymore and The kids will get a new teacher and a new room. So it's not enough that these kids are still kinda shell shocked about the whole school thing but now they have to pretty much start over with someone new.
Her reason for leaving Urbandale Elementary after a whopping 2 weeks of teaching is she feels that she is not able to be the wife and mother that she wants to be.. WTF!! That to me says i'm ditching this crappy school while I can.
I'm so sorry...how crummy for Aaron!

ReplyDeleteI do have one bit of advice, I shoulda changed Jacob as soon as I could tell that his K teacher sucked. I waited thinking it would get better and it didn't. I regret that all the time. If you don't like the school now are you going to like it the his whole elementary school years???? something to think about...
